- Contract: to take steps you request before entering into a contract (for example, a proposal) and to perform a contract with you.
- Legitimate interests: to answer enquiries, run and improve our website, keep it secure and promote our services to business contacts, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above, with:
- Service providers who act on our behalf, including Zoho (forms, live chat, booking and recruitment tools), Google (Google Analytics), Relevance AI (the AI research tools), Vercel (website hosting), Hostinger (hosting of our blog content platform) and our email providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.

When personal information is transferred outside the country where it was collected, we take steps to protect it, for example by using providers that offer appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and by transferring data only as permitted under applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. As a guide:

- newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe; and
- analytics data: in line with the retention settings of our Google Analytics account (no longer than 14 months).
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
How we keep information safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across our website, access controls limited to staff who need the information, and reputable service providers with their own security programmes.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
